Direct Communication for Returns
On VendHype, return requests go directly to sellers. This allows for faster, more personalized resolution before VendHype administrators need to get involved.
Return Request Process
Buyers can request returns directly with sellers, providing clear reasons and evidence for their return request.
Seller Response
Sellers can accept or reject return requests based on their policy and the buyer's reason for return.
Dispute Resolution
If a buyer insists on a return that a seller has rejected, VendHype administrators will review the case and make a final decision.
How the Return Process Works
Returns on VendHype follow a structured process between buyers and sellers:
- Buyer initiates a return request through the order details page.
- Buyer provides reason for return with supporting evidence (photos, videos).
- Seller reviews the request and supporting materials.
- Seller accepts or rejects the return request with an explanation.
- If accepted, buyer receives return instructions and refund timeline.
- If rejected, buyer can either accept the decision or escalate to dispute.
Seller Return Policies
Sellers on VendHype can set their own return policies within our guidelines
Sellers are required to clearly state their return policy on their shop profile and item listings. These policies must include:
- Whether they accept returns (all sellers must accept returns for damaged or misrepresented items)
- Return timeframe (between 7-30 days)
- Who pays return shipping
- Any restocking fees (maximum 15%)
- Condition requirements for returned items
